The goal: 100 venues acquired or managed.
After buying and selling more than $30 million in real estate, I found wedding venues — and they were different. These are places where people have the best day of their lives, run by owners who care deeply about their communities. Getting to add value to that brought me more joy than any deal I'd done before.
Entrepreneurship has blessed my life in ways I never expected — it gave me freedom, a way to provide for my family, and work I'm actually proud of. What I've learned along the way is that the growth I care about only ever came from being useful to someone else first.
Wedding venues are where those two things finally lined up. My goal is to acquire or manage 100 venues — and the only way there is by being useful to owners along the way: buying from the ones ready to move on, running the ones whose owners want their weekends back, and building software for the ones who just want to do it better themselves. A hundred venues means a hundred owners who got where they were trying to go. Here's where we are so far.
Bought directly from the owners on their timeline. Now the flagship of the portfolio.
A family-built farm venue that kept its name, its look, and its local vendor relationships.
Started as a management conversation and ended as a sale, because that fit what the owner wanted.
I'm building this in the open.
More behind-the-scenes, more transparency, less highlight reel. Follow along if you're building too.
